Lincoln Parent Email Update

Hello Lincoln Families,

PTO Meeting Thursday (11/13)!

We have our November Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) Meeting tomorrow (11/13) from 6-7:30pm. We will be meeting at Lincoln in the Conference Room, enter through Door 6 on South Street. 

Childcare is available in the Gym for potty trained children.

If you can't make it in person, feel free to join us virtually using the Google Meeting link at the top of the AGENDA. 

Lincoln Lion Apparel!

Lincoln Lion Apparel information should have come home last week. Here is the flyer if it didn't make it home.

All ordered items will be sent home with students before Winter Break. Online Ordering through our Square store is PREFERED. The Last Day To Order is Thursday, November 20th.

Music Ensembles at Lincoln!

Did you hear?! Community Ed is offering TWO Music Ensembles for 3rd, 4th, & 5th graders right after school at Lincoln starting in December!

PTO is SO excited to see this partnership with Bach to Rock, especially after last year's School District Budget Reductions resulted in Lincoln's Band, Choir, & Orchestra program being cut. In order to keep this Arts Experience accessible to as many Lincoln students as possible, PTO is offering Scholarships to families who need support covering the cost of these classes.

KPOP DEMON HUNTERS CHOIR meets on Fridays from 3:30-4:30pm starting Dec. 5th. It runs for 10 weeks with a finale concert on Feb. 20th.

INTRODUCTION TO ORCHESTRA AND BAND meet on Tuesdays from 3:30-4:30pm starting Dec. 2nd. It runs for 20 weeks with a finale concert on May 8th. Bring your own instrument or a selection of instruments are available for Lincoln students to check out from Ms. Whitcomb at no cost.

No Lincoln Elementary School for the Arts student will be turned away due to the inability to pay. If you need help with financial assistance or a scholarship please email tricia.josephs@ahschools.us or call 763-506-3112.

Lincoln PTO Board Position Openings!

The Lincoln PTO is looking for some more volunteers to help us lighten our load.

Positions to fill this school year:

-PTO Board Secretary

-Yearbook Co-Chair

-Staff Appreciation Coordinator Co-Chair

Shadow this year, Start next school year:

-PTO Board Co-Chair (like Vice President)

Shadow next year, start 27-28 school year:

-PTO Board Treasurer

-Boo Bash Raffle Chair

-Book Fair Coordinator Co-Chair
